For this years United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women we are remembering all those affected by domestic and sexual violence and abuse by holding a virtual Candle Lit Vigil.

With increased violence against women now being dubbed a ‘Shadow Pandemic’ by the UN (see link), it is important we work harder than ever to fight gender based abuse.

We are starting today by sharing these pictures of two brave survivors recently supported by Next Link, the 2 candles honouring the 2 women killed a week.

Over the next 16 days, we will also share photos from our partners, who stand in solidarity with Next Link and Safe Link to say violence against women and girls must stop!
